English description text follows
Linguistische Berichte (LB)
»Linguistische Berichte« is characterized by a maximum openness with regard to objects and methods of linguistics, yet attaching great importance on theoretical foundation and empirical validation. Since its foundation in 1969 by Peter Hartmann and Arnim von Stechow the journal has provided a discussion forum for any serious direction within linguistics and its neighboring disciplines (e.g. psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, language acquisition, language teaching). This methodically pluralistic alignment serves the goal of documenting the recent development, particularly of German linguistics, objectively and critically. In addition, the journal is open to all levels of scholarly work, i.e. for everyone who deals with linguistic-based projects – students, assistants and professors alike.
Linguistische Berichte - Sonderhefte
The supplements of »Linguistische Berichte« provide an approximately yearly overview of the major questions and developments in a special theoretical field of linguistics and inform about the current state of research.
Romanistik in Geschichte und Gegenwart (RomGG)
»Romanistik in Geschichte und Gegenwart« documents twice a year current research approaches and important results from the whole range of Romance linguistics. Each issue contains scholarly articles, book reviews, a short presentation of recent contributions to Romance magazines, and a portrait.
Romanistik in Geschichte und Gegenwart - Beihefte
As supplements to the series "Romanistik in Geschichte und Gegenwart", linguistic monographs (especially doctoral dissertations and habilitations), anthologies and proceedings are published at irregular intervals.
